Acadiana Symphony Women's League

Founded in 1987, the Acadiana Symphony Women's League provides services and financial support to the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra. With a membership over 250, this group gives thousands of hours and fundraises each year with passion for the Acadiana Symphony and Conservatory.

Active Members are requested to participate both financially and with volunteer hours each year on major fundraising. They are also required to participate in at least one other service or educational committee and attend general meetings. Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month. For membership information, call the ASO at 337.232.4277, ext.1.

The Acadiana Symphony Orchestra is one of only three in the United States that is associated with a Conservatory of Music. This unique partnership sets ASO apart from other symphony organizations in the country. The mission of the ASO and its Conservatory is unified in order to achieve a cohesive approach in the development of high quality performances and educational programs.
