Lessons are scheduled by semesters of the school year:
- Fall and Spring semesters - 15 weekly lessons per semester
- Summer semester - 8 weekly lessons
- Registrations are open year-round.

- 30, 45, or 60-minute weekly lessons
- Individual, partnered, or group lessons

Beginner Violin For Home Schooled Students
Morning & Early Afternoon Classes Available
Introduces students to violin, through a warm, creative group setting designed specifically for homeschoolers.

Introduces students to music through aural, rhythmic, and motor skills via singing, dancing and musical activities.

For students who want to become familiar with the piano through entry-level instruction and an introduction to basic musical concepts, including sight-reading, rhythm, and musical terms.

Whether you're new to music or returning after years away, this class offers a welcoming space to build basic violin skills, while also exploring how to improvise and create your own music.

ABOUT
Acadiana Symphony Orchestra & Conservatory of Music offers music lessons to people of all ages, year-round.
Our experienced and skilled teaching artists lead structured lessons, once a week, with durations ranging from 30-60 minutes. These sessions are geared toward teaching familiarity with instruments, and fundamentals of sight reading, music comprehension and technique, as well as reviewing and progressing the skills of more advanced students. All skill levels are welcome, and lessons are customized to meet the needs of an individual's proficiency level.
Through the ASO's Teacher Outreach Program across Acadiana parishes, students and teachers are matched accordingly to the student's needs and the most convenient location for lessons, with highly qualified professional teachers of all instruments of the orchestra, school band, and more!
