OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION (please read)

  • Acadiana Symphony Orchestra is a "per service" orchestra. Our 2024-2025 Concert Season includes 7 Masterworks concerts and 4 community concerts in New Iberia. Pay is $72/service (section) and $92/service (principal). Travel pay is given for musicians who live over 50 miles from Lafayette. First-year contracts are always a "trial period". Permanent contracts may be issued after the first year.
  • Auditions are reviewed blindly, in order to maintain anonymity during the evaluation process. We will separate video from the audio before sending to the jury for review.
  • All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
