  • Applications with missing materials or received after the deadline will not be accepted. 
  • Your one-page resume must include your full name, your instrument, your email address and phone number, your education, and previous orchestra and performance experience. 
  • The deposit check will be returned at the audition, or if cancellation notice is received at least 72 hours in advance of the audition date.
  • Audition times will be sent to each candidate after the deadline.
  • Sight reading may be requested at the discretion of the audition committee.
  • Candidates are responsible for bringing their own printed copies to the audition. Electronic devices such as iPads, phones, tablets, recording devices, and laptops ARE NOT allowed in the audition room.

ABOUT ASO'S 2025 / 2026 CONCERT SEASON

Acadiana Symphony is a per-service orchestra. The 2025-2026 season includes 3 Classics concerts, 3 Pops concerts, 3 Runout concerts, 3 Chamber concerts, and an Education concert. Additional performances may be added after the start of the season. Winning candidates will be required to show proof of work authorization before their first service.
